James Michael Angelo and Tiffany Haas are thrilled to announce that Megan Hilty (Smash, Sean Saves the World, Wicked and Nine to Five on Broadway) will be the very first guest on their new talk show, AMERICAN BLEND. The pilot episode will hit the web on Tuesday, June 17th on the AMERICAN BLEND website, (www.americanblend.tv). The duo plans to turn the talk show into a weekly series beginning in the fall of 2014, future guests will be announced soon. The series is co-hosted by Mr. Angelo and Ms. Haas.

About Face Theatre commemorates Pride Month with THE PRIDE PERFORMANCE SERIES, a spectacular line-up of readings, performances and special events throughout June celebrating the LGBTQIA experience. The series kicks off with a reading of Jonathan Tolins' comedy The Last Sunday in June, starring real life couple Michael Urie (of TV's Ugly Betty) and his partner Ryan Spahn. Urie is currently starring in Tolins' comedy Buyer & Cellar at Chicago's Broadway Playhouse. Up next, AFT Artistic Associate Paul Oakley Stovall leads a panel of Chicago artists through an exploration of Lesbians & Literature. Then, playwright Bixby Elliot (Girl You Know It's True) unravels everything you've ever learned about our 16th President as AFT presents a reading of his hilarious play Abraham Lincoln was a F*gg*t. Finally, Steven Strafford stars in a reading of Methtacular!, his own brutally honest and often comedic story of survival as a meth addict in Chicago.

Robin Carus, Josh Walden and Adam Fitzgerald have announced the upcoming reading of Jason Huza's WRAPPED IN PINK (story by Josh Walden, Written by Jason Huza). The reading will be presented on Monday, May 26th at Pearl Studios (500 8th Avenue, 12th floor) in studio 1209 at 6:00 PM. Equal parts music and monologue, Tentative Armor is a darkly comedic collection of the performer's first-person stories of grief, sexuality and self-discovery.
