Adam Davenport takes on the lead role in Ronnie Larsen's 'Shooting Porn,' opening this weekend at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale before a prospective multiple city tour. 

Actress Shanica Knowles, the mean girl to Miley Cyrus on Hannah Montana who most recently played Tichina Arnold in the Lifetime film Surviving Compton, has collaborated with New York actor Adam Davenport on his debut single, 'My Return Address is You.' The release, which was delayed a week in protest of the Inauguration,  is now set for this Friday, January 27th, via Independent Ear through Caroline Distribution/Universal Music Group/ILS. 

Banana Boat Productions in association with New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) is pleased to announce Crossing Boundaries, two short plays from Trinidadian writers as part of OFF THE BOAT, a summer Caribbean Theatre Festival. Dueling Voices, by the prolific Zeno Obi Constance, is paired with Nice by Mustapha Matura (Playboy of the West Indies.) The production runs August 18 through 27th at New Perspectives Studio, 458 West 37th Street, with performances Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30pm and Sundays at 4:00pm.

Listening Raven Productions is presenting a new play about modern Native Americans in NYC called 'Last of the Caucasians' this week. The show will run at The Barrow Group Theatre on June 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th at 7pm. The play, written by Erich L. Ruehs, is a fast-paced comedic satire featuring four independent, free-thinking Native American lead characters.

Dixon Place will present a presentation of John Budge's new botany-centric play, BOTTOM OF THE SCRUM on Friday May 6th at 7:30pm.

Whatsonstage.com is reporting that the award-winning off-Broadway Musical, A Man of No Importance created by the writers of Ragtime, will get West End treatment when The Union Theatre's celebrated fringe production transfers to the Arts Theatre next month.
