Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announce that the Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Boston premiere. The U.S. National Tour will play a limited two week engagement at the Boston Opera House November 3 - 15, 2015. In the iconic title role of Carole King will be Abby Mueller. Mueller's sister, Jessie Mueller, won the Tony Award in 2014 Best Actress in a Musical her portrayal of King in the show's Broadway production. Beautiful-The Carole King Musical is part of the 2015-2016 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK. In celebration of Tony Award-nominated composer Paul Gordon's recent relocation from Los Angles to New York City, Paul has released an archived and unknown video from his time as a pop Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter in the 1990s. Co-written with former rock band TOTO frontman, Joseph Williams, (and recorded with much of the TOTO band), the song 'I Am Alive', features Paul's rocking vocals and brilliant writing. The Sarah Siddons Society's Artistic Director, Dominic Missimi, bestowed on Jessie Mueller the organization's prestigious Actress of the Year Award in a tribute entitled SO BEAUTIFUL! last Monday, April 27 at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire.
