All-Female Comedy Show BROAD COMEDY Begins at The SoHo Playhouse Tonight

Due to popular demand, YouTube sensation Katie Goodman's Broad Comedywill return to the SoHo Playhouse (sohoplayhouse.com) beginning January 29, 2018. The internationally-touring riotous, ridiculous, and in-your-face all-women troupe, Broad Comedy, stars Danielle Cohn, Molly Kelleher, Tana Sirois, Carlita Victoria and Katie Goodman. Broad Comedy played the SoHo Playhouse last May in a limited three-show run and is being welcomed back for an official Off-Broadway run, playing Mondays at 7:30pm through March 26 at the Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). Brooks Ashmanskas, Beth Leavel, and Christopher Sieber Will Bring THE PROM to Broadway

It was announced today that the hilarious new Broadway musical comedy THE PROM will star Tony Award Nominee Brooks Ashmanskas (Something Rotten!), Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), two-time Tony Award Nominee Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical), Caitlin Kinnunen (Bridges of Madison County), Isabelle McCalla (Aladdin), Michael Potts (Jitney), Angie Schworer (The Producers), Courtenay Collins (Broadway Debut) and Josh Lamon (Groundhog Day) and will officially open on Broadway on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at a Shubert theater to be announced.

Florida Rep Extends HOW THE OTHER HALF LOVES

Florida Repertory Theatre extends Alan Ayckbourn's farce about matrimonial discord, How the Other Half Loves, starring Tony Award nominee and Broadway and screen veteran, Paxton Whitehead through February 3, 2018.

NC Theatre presents A.R. Gurney's 1988 play LOVE LETTERS, running January 12th-21st. LOVE LETTERS follows two childhood friends, Melissa and Andy, who stay in contact over fifty years of their lives by writing letters, effectively becoming pen-pals. As Melissa and Andy share the highs and lows of their lives with one another, LOVE LETTERS becomes a story of companionship, friendship, and love.

WSRep Presents LOVE LETTERS at Raue Center

Williams Street Repertory, McHenry County's only professional theater company, is excited to bring A.R. Gurney's Pulitzer Prize nominated drama, Love Letters, to downtown Crystal Lake. This bittersweet epistolary romance opens on February 9, 2018 at Raue Center For The Arts and runs through February 11, 2018.

BWW Review: North Carolina Theatre's LOVE LETTERS

Love Letters centers on two characters, Melissa Gardner & Andrew Makepeace Ladd III, as they sit at tables side by side to read the notes, letters and cards they've wrote to each other over the course of 50 years. Within the letters, the two characters discuss their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats that have passed between them throughout their separated lives.

From January 12th-21st, North Carolina Theatre will be presenting A.R. Gurney's LOVE LETTERS at the A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater. I recently had the great pleasure of stopping by rehearsal to interview the stars of this production, two-time Emmy nominee Sandy Duncan and Ira David Wood III.

George Street Playhouse Announces Cast Of AMERICAN HERO

George Street Playhouse, now located at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, announced today that Playhouse favorites John Bolger (last season's American Son, 2014's Outside Mullingar) and Armand Schultz (The Spitfire Grill, Jolson Sings Again), as well as Broadway's Kally Duling (Fun Home) and Laiona Michelle (Amazing Grace) have been cast in Christopher Demos-Brown's gripping military drama American Hero, on stage January 30 through February 25.

The Philipstown Depot Theatre is proud to present A.R. Gurney's celebrated and popular play, Love Letters, just in time for Valentine's Day! A Pulitzer Prize finalist, Love Letters is the touching, funny and ultimately moving story of a 50-year correspondence between two childhood friends whose relationship weathers time and distance. Through their letters to each other, we learn of their triumphs and tribulations, and ultimately the hilarious and poignant ways in which their lives unfold. Starring Phil Geoffrey Bond (Sondheim Unplugged, My Queer Youth, My Friend, the Cat, Small Town Confessions) and Jennifer Lee Andrews (a Depot regular as well as Broadway's Les Miserables, Grand Hotel, James Joyce's The Dead, etc.), a limited number of seats are available for this special, three-performance only engagement.

Katie Finneran, Robert Sean Leonard, and Paul Sparks to Star in AT HOME AT THE ZOO

Casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo: Homelife & The Zoo Story. This new production, directed by Drama Desk Award-winner Lila Neugebauer (Signature Plays, Everybody), honors Legacy Playwright Edward Albee, who was in residence at Signature during the 1993-94 Season and returned to the company for four more productions. Albee passed away in 2016.

Casting, Dates Set for Primary Stages' 2017-18 Season
