San Francisco Playhouse will complete its twelfth season with Stephen Sondheim's trailblazing musical comedy, Company, directed by Susi Damilano. The play will feature a cast of local favorites, with Keith Pinto (Into the Woods) starring as Robert, along with Teresa Attridge, Velina Brown*, Morgan Dayley, Michelle Drexler, Ryan Drummond*, Richard Frederick*, John Paul Gonzalez, Monique Hafen*, Stephanie Prentice*, Chris Reber*, Abby Sammons, Nicole Weber and Michael Scott Wells.

Murder, musical mayhem and a madcap mystery will be on stage when Philadelphia Theatre Company presents the killer musical MURDER FOR TWO, running tonight, June 6-28 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets).

The Off-Broadway hit Murder for Two opens tonight (June 3) in the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater.  The production has now been extended through Sunday, August 2.

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon raised the roof -- and significant funds -- with the help of celebrity guest star Laura Benanti at SONG OF A SUMMER NIGHT, the theatre company's gala fundraising evening held June 1 at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco. Murder, musical mayhem and a madcap mystery will be on stage when Philadelphia Theatre Company presents the killer musical MURDER FOR TWO, running June 6-28 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets).  With book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair, and direction by Scott Schwartz, the hilarious whodunit features a two-man cast, with one actor investigating the crime and the other playing all the suspects -- and both playing the piano. 

42nd Street Moon announces SONG OF A SUMMER NIGHT, a fundraising gala starring television star and Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti. The event includes cocktails, a live auction, dinner, and a "Moonlight Lounge" with Musical Director Dave Dobrusky and other 42nd Street Moon performers.  Cocktail attire is encouraged. The evening takes place 6pm, Monday, June 1 at Bimbo's 365 Club, 1025 Columbus Ave, San Francisco.

BroadwayWorld San Francisco spoke with Brandy Collazo of Hillbarn Theatre's production of 'Curtains,' the Kander and Ebb musical opening this weekend in Foster City. Collazo, who plays Nikki in the who-done-it comedy, has performed extensively throughout the Bay Area with PCRT, DTC, Palo Alto Players, 42nd Street Moon and Willows Theatre. She has been nominated for a Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award, and has received two Shellie Awards for Best Actress. Her experience also includes work with Hillbarn Theatre's youth conservatory.
