Pattern Recognition is a trio of one-acts with the same theme: the tendency (sometimes the compulsion) of people to try and find meaning where there is none. Whether it's a painting on the wall, clouds in the sky, or hints and clues supposedly lurking in plain sight, our characters struggle to reconcile their longings for a mystical connection to the cosmos with the dull, routine activities of their daily lives, sometimes with some pretty funny results.

Radical Gags Theatrics will present the World Premiere of LIKE MONEY IN THE BANK, the first romantic comedy about the founding of the Federal Reserve Bank, by Jerry Polner. Directed by Shana Solomon, previews begin April 7 at Theatre Row Studio Theatre. Opening night is slated for Thursday, April 14.

Last night, January 18th, 2016, Theatre Now New York presented its 3nd Annual festival of new musicals, Sound Bites 3.0 (sponsored by Music Theatre International and Disney Theatrical Productions) to a sold-out house at the 47th Street Theatre. An after-party, sponsored by MTI, was held after at Hurley's Saloon where awards were given. Sound Bites showcases ten 10-minute musicals or musical excerpts in one evening. After their inaugural year, SOUND BITES, a ten minute musical theatre festival presented by Theatre Now New York, is now accepting submissions through Monday, September 1, 2014. SOUND BITES II, the Second Annual Festival of 10 Minute Musicals, will be on Monday, December 8, 2014. The second annual festival is expected to be held at The 47th Street Theatre, the location of SOUND BITES 2013. SOUND BITES is the first-ever ten minute musical theatre festival that accepts both ten minute musicals and ten minute excerpts of larger musicals. Any ten minute piece that can be performed and includes music qualifies.

Theatre Now New York will host the first meeting of 2014 of the RAW Reading series on Sunday, March 9, 2014. The reading will begin at 3:00 pm in the Mitchell Room on the third floor of 520 Eighth Avenue.
