David Rusiecki BIO
David Rusiecki is the president of the New Voices Playwrights Theatre. He has served as head of the New Works Festival Literary Committee and Board of Trustees with the Long Beach Playhouse. His full-length plays and one-acts have been given staged readings and produced in California at Stage Door Repertory Theatre, STAGES Theatre and Theatre Out. His full-length Sides was selected for the Long Beach Playhouse New Works table-read series while in the same year …Prep… received honorable mention with Panndora Productions’ annual festival of new play readings. His one-act play Kid Gloves (originally entitled Have A Nice Day) has been published in The Best American Short Plays 2012-2013 (Applause Books) as well as in Best Monologues from Best American Short Plays (Applause Books). His one-act play Long Time Coming has been published in The Best American Short Plays 2014-2015 (Applause Books).
