CJ Obilom

With her magnetic presence & fierce dedication to honing her craft, CJ has captured audiences worldwide. Prepare to be blown away by Obilom, a talented 1st generation Nigerian-American actor whose star is rapidly rising. From Austin, TX to Nigeria & back, CJ's passion for acting has never wavered since she started at the tender age of 11. She held tight to her dream, garnering a B.A. in Theater and Dance from the University of Texas at Austin before moving to LA.

Her latest theater credits include Alexandre Dumas' The Great Lover, and Richard Wesley's The Talented Tenth, both produced by The Robey Theatre Company. Her notable film/TV credits include NBC's Grand Crew, BET Plus' The Black Hamptons, & the impactful feature film Trafficked, where she portrays a victim of sex trafficking. Her goal as an artist is to be a force for change, while leaving a positive imprint on the lives of those who encounter her work.

CJ will be starring as Dussie Mae in the upcoming 2026 production of August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, produced by A Noise Within Theatre.
