Rubicon Theatre will continue the company’s 25th Anniversary Season with the West Coast Premiere run of “A” TRAIN, an award-winning play-with-music about a mother’s journey on the autism train.

There has never been a lack of extraordinary talent at United Solo. Year by year, audiences have witnessed some of the most amazing solo artists from all over the world share their talents and stories. Some of these artists have made a particularly incredible mark on the audience's hearts through their performances on the United Solo stage at Theatre Row on 42nd Street in Manhattan. Therefore, during the first two weeks of the 10th anniversary season of United Solo, nearly thirty award-winning performers will be gracing the stage once again in THE BEST OF category.

Park Square Theatre has partnered with The Daniel Group to bring the 23-year phenomenon Triple Espresso-A Highly Caffeinated Comedy to Park Square's Andy Boss Thrust Stage November 9, 2018 - January 13, 2019. "This partnership brings together two amazingly loyal audiences to experience downtown Saint Paul's parks, skating rink, restaurants, music venues and hotels when they are spangled with white lights and good cheer," says Park Square Executive Director Michael-jon Pease. "Plus, this partnership makes great use of the Boss Stage during a time when we're otherwise only performing in the mornings for school groups."

In July, the Maplewood Area Historical Society will offer a weekend of Minnesota-sourced food and clean comedy when it presents Bob Stromberg:  Comedy Cafe at the Barn! on July 20-22. The evening will begin with appetizers and Minnesota-crafted wines, beers and sodas served on the lush grounds of the Bruentrup Heritage Farm, just east of Maplewood Mall.  Audiences can stroll through the historical exhibits, participate in a scavenger hunt and leisurely listen to jazz piano entertainment before local comedian Bob Stromberg takes the stage to give audiences a full evening of hilarious comedy in the rustic red barn. 

Maya Angelou said, Everybody born comes from the Creator trailing wisps of glory. If that's true, then Bob Stromberg has had some gloriously creative streaks over the past year, including a wisp of fame on national television.

Gerald Charles Dickens, the great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens, takes center stage when Hennepin Theatre Trust presents the anticipated return of TO BEGIN WITH at the Historic Wesley Center (101 E. Grant St., Minneapolis) Tuesday, March 28 to Saturday, April 15, 2017.

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today it will be presenting three productions by The Daniel Group at the New Century Theatre (street level of City Center, 615 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) including Triple Espresso - a highly caffeinated comedy, which moves from its 21-year home at the Music Box Theatre. Also included are That Wonder Boy and To Begin With. All three shows are produced by the Minneapolis-based Daniel Group, whose mission is to provide top-quality, professional theater and entertainment with wholesome productions that positively impact audiences.

 The ten-week run of the United Solo Festival, featuring 150 productions from six continents, concluded on Sunday, November 22 at Theatre Row in New York, where the festival is a resident company. Beginning with its opening night on September 17, United Solo presented between two and five shows every day, in a vast array of categories. Over 80 of the shows were sold out, and nearly 30 were presented in the ENCORE program, which features companies returning to the festival after successful performances in previous years.

Bob Stromberg's comic theatrical show That Wonder Boy is honored to be part of the 2015 United Solo Theatre Festival in New York City. Its initially scheduled show on October 30 (9 PM) sold out quickly and a second is scheduled for October 31 (2PM). Only a few seats remain. WONDER BOY, a new play coming to The Temple Theater, stars comedian and storyteller Bob Stromberg, best known for originating the role of 'Bobby Bean' in, and co-authoring, TRIPLE ESPRESSO - A HIGHLY CAFFEINATED COMEDY. But this time, he goes solo, taking theater-goers on a captivating journey through life and art. The production will close Feb. 27, 2011.

Iowa's longest running show, TRIPLE ESPRESSO - A HIGHLY CAFFEINATED COMEDY, makes its return to Civic Center's The Temple Theater in the Temple for Performing Arts as part of the Prairie Meadows Temple Theater Series. Local favorites John Bush and Patrick Albanese will reprise their roles as Bobby Bean and Buzz Maxwell at selected performances. The production will close on January 9, 2011.
