Alfred Molina and Simon Helberg to Headline THE MURDER ON THE LINKS Audio Production Presented by L.A. Theatre Works


L.A. Theatre Works has commissioned a new audio theater adaptation of the classic Agatha Christie “whodunit” The Murder on the Links. The all-star cast includes Alfred Molina as Christie’s most famous detective, Hercule Poirot, as well as Simon Helberg, Adhir Kalyan, Joanne Whalley, Kevin Daniels, Edita Brychta, Darren Richardson, and more.

L.A. Theatre Works has announced the release of its state-of-the-art audio recording of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. This new stage adaptation, written by the BBC's Kate McAll, stars veteran stage actor Stacy Keach as 'the creature,' with Adhir Kalyan (Arrested Development, Rules of Engagement) in the role of Dr. Victor Frankenstein.

L.A. Theatre Works' IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT Will be Available for Streaming


Beginning this Saturday, June 13, the L.A. Theatre Works audio theater recording of John Ball's In the Heat of the Night, adapted for the stage by Matt Pelfrey, will air on radio stations across the country and be available to stream free on the L.A. Theatre Works website.

L.A. Theatre Works will record J.T. Rogers' 2017 Tony Award-winning play, Oslo for public radio, podcast and online streaming in front of a live audience over the course of four performances. Theatre Works celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2014-15 with a season of ten radio-theater productions, each recorded by a star-studded cast in front of a live audience for future radio broadcast, distribution on CD, digital download and online streaming. All performances take place at the 300-seat, acoustically vibrant James Bridges Theater located on the campus of UCLA in West Los Angeles. In addition, the company heads out on its 10th annual national tour.
