Third Rail Repertory Theatre will stage THE REALISTIC JONESES by Will Eno, directed by Rebecca Lingafelter* and featuring Dana Green, Michael O'Connell*, Darius Pierce*, and Kerry Ryan*. Lifelong dreams, love of literature and past reckoning. Those themes are at the heart of A. Rey Pamatmat's two-character drama, And Right Now. The new play, commissioned by South Coast Repertory, is featured in a staged reading tonight, March 18, at 7:30 p.m., as part of SCR's 27th season of its NewSCRipts reading series.

The Friend Center for the Arts at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) and the Magic Theatre present The Virgin Play Reading Series on four Mondays in March. These readings of scripts-in-progress by the playwrights themselves, offer audiences the chance to hear the plays before they arrive on the stage and see the new play development process up close. After each reading, the playwright and director will have a conversation with the audience members.

Due to the high demand for advanced ticket sales resulting in a number of sold-out shows, the Vortex Theater Company is releasing additional tickets for every performance of its upcoming production, Kiss of the Spider Woman - The Musical. The Vortex has also created a select number of obstructed view seats for a discounted ticket price of $12.

The New York 'IT' Awards (sponsored by Backstage) takes place September 19th at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
