The Waterfront Playhouse will kick off their 72nd Season with 'It Takes Two - An Evening of Duets'- a two night concert that will star over 25 of Key West's best performers. The evening will feature hits from the world of Broadway, pop, standards and even disco, all done as duets. It's an evening chock full of talent, entertainment and double the fun.

The Waterfront Playhouse, recently named The Best Professional Theater in Florida, by Florida Monthly Magazine, will kick off their 71st Season with 'Broadway - Let's Twist Again!' This gender-bending musical extravaganza will star over 30 of Key West's best performers. The show features guys doing numbers made famous by Broadway divas, and the gals reciprocating with songs made famous by Broadway dudes.

'Everybody's Girl' - Vicki Roush In Concert At The Waterfront
Vicki has starred at the Waterfront in numerous productions, including 'Olympus On My Mind,' 'Lookin' Up,' 'A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum,' and many others. She has also appeared in the Waterfront's Sondheim concert, 'Encore!' and this year's 'Broadway With A Twist.' In 1991, she had a sold-out concert at TWFAC called 'Diva By The Sea.' She has also performed in 'Falsettoland,' 'Cole' and the various incarnations of 'Nunsense,' as well as appearing in 'Follies' with the Key West Pops. She was recently the featured singer for the annual NetRoots Nation conference, attended by President Bill Clinton.

The season begins with 'Twelve Angry Men' by Reginald Rose (Dec. 17 to Jan. 9), one of the greatest courtroom dramas ever written. Directed by Danny Weathers, it will feature a cast of Key West's finest actors. This gripping play examines a group of citizens deciding the guilt or innocence of a 16 year old boy who's accused of killing his father and will have you on the edge of your seat. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play in 2004. 'Crackling...theatrically irresistible. Sends a chill up the spine.' The Washington Post. The production sponsor is Rudy Molinet and Marquis Properties Realty.
