Brooklyn's Smith Street Stage, committed to presenting Shakespeare's classic stories in new and accessible ways, returns to Carroll Park for their annual FREE outdoor Shakespeare performances with a captivating new production of As You Like It,  June 7th to 25th (Thursday -Sunday) at 7:30 p.m.

SMITH STREET STAGE has announced their reimagining of William Shakespeare’s  MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by Raquel Chavez and Beth Ann Hopkins. MEASURE FOR MEASURE will play a three-week limited engagement at The Mark O’Donnell Theater at The Entertainment Community Fund Arts Center.

SMITH STREET STAGE has announced their production of William Shakespeare's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, directed by Dan Hasse. THE COMEDY OF ERRORS will play June 8 - June 26 in Carroll Park (Carroll Stop off F & G). Performances begin Wednesday, June 8th and continue through Sunday, June 26. Opening Night is Friday, June 10th (7:00 p.m.). Press are cordially invited, Friday, June 10 (and any subsequent performance).

The Bingham Camp Theatre Retreat (BCTR) will be presenting  a private industry reading of "Call It Courage" a new musical based in the novel by Armstrong Sperry. Book, Music & Lyrics by Adam Overett. The presentation will be directed by BCTR founder Devanand Janki and will take place March 17th & 18th in New York at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Jaygee Macapugay, who appeared in the cast of the off-Broadway hit musical Here Lies Love, will assume the title role of 'Imelda Marcos' with her first official performance tonight, October 20th.

Jaygee Macapugay, currently featured in the cast of the off-Broadway hit musical Here Lies Love, will assume the title role of Imelda Marcos with her first official performance on Monday October 20th. Ruthie Ann Miles who originated the role will play her final performance on Saturday October 18th. Tobias Wong has also joined the cast and is now playing the role of the D.J.
