Alzheimer's Greater Los Angeles, a nonprofit delivering critical support and research funds to families affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementias throughout the Los Angeles area for over 37 years is hosting their 6th annual fundraiser; An Unforgettable Evening, on Sunday May 6, 2018. This fundraiser hosted by Susan Disney Lord and Scott Richard Lord, and attended by 250 people every year, takes place at the historic Santa Monica Disney estate once owned by Bette Davis.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA) honored Cindy Holland, Vice President, Original Content at Netflix with the 2017 Sherry Lansing Award at its annual Big Bash gala, October 20, 2017, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills. The award recognizes an individual who provides an inspiring and positive role model to our city's youth. The gala raised $535,000 to support BBBSLA programs. Theater and music lovers alike are eagerly awaiting Alzheimer's Greater Los Angeles (ALZGLA) 5th annual An Unforgettable Evening on May 7. The event will feature an intimate performance by Broadway Legend, Jennifer Holliday. Best known as the original Dreamgirl, Holliday is also known for show-stopping performances in Your Arm's Too Short To Box With God, Chicago, Grease, and The Color Purple.

Hero Ventures, a Los Angeles based entertainment company, announced today that it is teaming up with Marvel Entertainment to create 'The Marvel Experience,' an innovative, traveling experience, featuring dozens of Marvel's iconic Super Heroes. This attraction will appeal to a multi-generational audience and will leverage state-of-the-art interactive and multimedia technology, including a 4D motion ride and original 3D animated features, allowing fans to be a part of the action. The tour comes to life in 2014.

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) will give Disney's most loyal fans an up close look at an extensive collection of interactive experiences and merchandise that celebrate Disney, Marvel and Star Wars timeless characters during the bi-annual D23 Expo, the ultimate Disney fan event. Held at the Anaheim Convention Center from Aug. 9-11, 2013, Disney fans will have the chance to follow their favorite products from 'sketch to shelf' and learn how Disney Consumer Products extends storytelling from character and content extension to product development through featured discussions, art and sculptures and final product displays.
