The holiday season moves into high gear today, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7 when Chicago's home grown holiday film Scrooge & Marley returns to the Music Box Theatre (3733 N. Southport Ave., Chicago) a little over two years from the date of its red carpet premiere at the historic venue in 2012.

The holiday season moves into high gear on Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7 when Chicago's home grown holiday film Scrooge & Marley returns to the Music Box Theatre (3733 N. Southport Ave., Chicago) a little over two years from the date of its red carpet premiere at the historic venue in 2012. Both screenings are at Noon, for $10 each.

SAM I Am Films, producers of 'Scrooge & Marley,' a modern-day variation on Charles Dickens' classic holiday story, 'A Christmas Carol,' has posted the first trailer of the film, which will be released in December. Acclaimed out actor David Pevsner portrays Ben Scrooge while former SNL star Tim Kazurinsky appears as the Ghost of Jacob Marley.
