Notable graduates from Baldwin Wallace University will band together on August 26 to honor the life of fellow grad Kyle Jean-Baptiste, the Les Miserables cast member who tragically passed away in 2015. Jean-Baptiste was the youngest, and the first African-American actor, to play the leading role of a?oeJean Valjeana?? on Broadway. The Kyle Jean-Baptiste Foundation, which was founded in 2016 in his name, supports and provides opportunities of enrichment and learning to empower youth, families, and communities through the Arts.

MARRY HARRY is an official selection of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre and will be presented by the New York Musical Theatre Festival. MARRY HARRY has a book by Jennifer Robbins, music by Dan Martin, lyrics by Michael Biello, music direction by Christopher McGovern, choreography by Wendy Seyb, and is directed by Kent Nicholson. MARRY HARRY will play at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center, beginning July 19 - July 28. PlayhouseSquare and the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music (B-W) are partnering to present the first regional premiere of [title of show], May 1-3 at the 14th Street Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. The show will feature current students in the Baldwin-Wallace Music Theatre Program under the direction of nationally acclaimed director Victoria Bussert, head of the music theatre program at B-W. This will be the second year that the multi-tiered collaboration between PlayhouseSquare and the Baldwin-Wallace Music Theatre Program as well as the Arts Management Program will occur.
