Highlights this week include 24 Hour Broadway, the opening of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and The Commons of Pensacola, as well as Chicago's 17th birthday!

An annual benefit event produced by the 24 Hour Company and Freestyle Picture Company for Urban Arts Partnership, The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway attracts some of entertainment's biggest names as they join forces to participate in an extreme rite of theater: writing, directing, and performing 6 original short plays, all in just 24 hours. Montblanc and Urban Arts Partnership presented the highly anticipated return of THE 24 HOUR PLAYS BENEFIT, now in its second year in Los Angeles. Hollywood actors joined forces to participate in this one-night-only live performance, produced by Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri of the Freestyle Picture Company and the 24 Hour Company. 'Saturday Night Live's Rachel Dratch, the legendary hip-hop pioneer Fab 5 Freddy, 'Law & Order SVU's Diane Neal, Working Playground Executive Director Philip Courtney, and hundreds of New York City inner-city school students/aspiring artists presenting their work will take part in Working Playground's 2007 Urban Arts Festival on Monday, June 4th at the Barrow Street Theatre
