Veteran progressive activist and TV-film-stage producer Scott Robbe died on Sunday, November 21, 2021, according to a statement by Paul Algiers, a longtime friend and the executor of Scott Robbe's estate. Robbe was in hospice care at the home of his sister, Angela, in Hartford, Wisconsin.

The film features former President George W. Bush, Bill Gates, Bono, former national security advisor Susan Rice, National Institutes of Health director Dr. Francis Collins, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Dr. Tom Frieden, journalists Laurie Garrett and Apoorva Mandavilli, and key AIDS activists, among others.

The cast has been finalized for the upcoming reading of THE GIRL IN THE RED DRESS on Monday, May 14th (8p-10p) at the National Arts Club (Gramercy Park, South).

Smith, and Linda Tardif. The creative team will include Set and Lighting Design by Nick Francone (Vampire Cowboys) with assistance from Rachel Schapira, and Costume Design by Ethan Berube. The HIV Equal campaign officially launches at the World Health Clinicians' wellness event on October 26th and includes an exhibition of the first set of photographs featuring Broadway star Nick Adams ('La Cage Aux Folles,' 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'), Congressman Jim Himes, AIDS and gay rights activist Peter Staley, Tony Award winning actor/singer Billy Porter ('Kinky Boots'), and drag superstar Bianca Del Rio, among many others. A new exhibition at the New-York Historical Society, Children With AIDS: Spirit and Memory, will feature twenty powerful black and white photographs by noted photographer and social realist Claire Yaffa from her collection "The Changing Face of Children with AIDS." Installed in the Civil Rights Gallery from June 7 through September 15, 2013, the mid- to large-format photographs, taken from 1990-2000, reveal heartbreaking tales of children afflicted with HIV and AIDS.

What I love most about the theatre is the passion the actors have for their work. During my interview with three actors from 'Suitors', it was evident how much they cared about the story they are telling, the characters they are portraying, as well as the people they are working with.
