Sebastian La Cause, the multi-faceted actor, known for his work on Broadway and most recently in the Netflix original Orange Is The New Black, Homeland and the critically acclaimed indie-feature Keep The Lights On was the big winner at this year's Indie Series Awards, which was held in Los Angeles for the first time. La Cause's drama Hustling took home the night's top honor, Best Drama Series. Recently completing its third and final season, Hustling can be found on Youtube at, www.HustlingTheWebSeries.com and was this year's most nominated series with nine nods - including writing, soundtrack and Lead Actor for La Cause.

Several Broadway actors have expanded their talents by creating their own production companies. Sebastian La Cause is one of those with an award-winning web series under his belt.

On Wednesday, September 1st, The NewFilmmakers NY Series screens at Anthology Film Archives on the Lower East Side at 32 Second Avenue & 2nd Street. NewFilmmakers LA screens in the Stanley Kramer Theater @ Anthology at the Sunset Gower Studio.
