The Fabulous Fox Theatre announced today that Christopher Tierney and Bronwyn Reed will star as Johnny Castle and Frances "Baby" Houseman in the St. Louis premiere of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage.

 Casting has been announced for DIRTY DANCING - THE CLASSIC STORY ON STAGE, coming to The Broward Center for the Performing Arts for a limited two week engagement.  Christopher Tierney and Rachel Boone will star as Johnny Castle and Frances "Baby" Houseman in the Fort Lauderdale premiere of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Thursday, January 28, Broadway Sessions welcomes performers from the roster of talent management house, Whole Artist Management, run by Rich Martino and Cori Gardner.

Gillian Abbott assumes the iconic role of Frances "Baby" Houseman tonight in the North American tour of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage. Abbott joins the production as it begins performances at the Connor Palace at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, where it will continue through March 22.

The Classic Story On Stage, an unprecedented live experience exploding with heart-pounding music, passionate romance and sensational dancing, will play at Sacramento Community Center Theater from December 26, 2014 - January 4, 2015. Based on the tremendously popular classic 1987 film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage is part of the Broadway Sacramento series presented by California Musical Theatre. DIRTY DANCING - THE CLASSIC STORY ON STAGE will play at Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater from Tuesday, December 9th through Sunday, December 14th for eight performances only. The Fabulous Fox Theatre has announced that the national tour of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will play at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis October 21 - November 2, 2014.

Eleanor Bergstein, who wrote the screenplay for the iconic film DIRTY DANCING as well as the book for the stage production, was recognized during the curtain call on the opening night of DIRTY DANCING - THE CLASSIC STORY ON STAGE at National Theatre on Tuesday, September 2. The show plays the National Theatre through September 14 before embarking on a 30-city North American tour. As she joined the cast on stage, Bergstein said, 'We are so excited to launch our national tour in the nation's capital.' Scroll down for photos!
