Southampton Arts Center announces that a half a million dollars was raised at its 6th annual SummerFestbenefit event on Thursday, August 29 a?" the final major fundraising event of the Hamptons summer season. This year the Champion of the Arts Awardwent to Diane Tuft for her incredible contribution to the arts and the world around us.  The event was sponsored by GRAFF along with Media Partner Purist.

On June 20th, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation's founding chairs Emily Levin Esq. and Julie Ratner Ed. D held their 20th annual gala to celebrate their achievements over the past two decades and to honor Andy Sabin for his environmental and philanthropic work. Chaired by Jean Shafiroff and hosted by Fox Meteorologist Audrey Puente, the duo welcomed over 300 guests to photographer, Steven Klein's Westkill Farm in Bridgehampton for a night of dinner and dancing to the sounds of Audrey's brother, Tito Puente Jr. & his 10-piece band. The third edition of Art Southampton, the leading international contemporary and modern art fair for acquiring investment quality works of art opened last night with huge success, where top collectors, curators, art advisors and influencers kicked off the weekend-long event. Taking place on the 18-acre estate behind the Southampton Elks Lodge, the Platinum VIP saw over 1,500 top collectors of the East End, and throughout the elegant evening, attendance exceeded last year's VIP Preview of 4,200 guests. In what appears to be the first ever wedding ceremony at an art fair, the Kevin Berlin, internationally renowned painter and performance who just flew in from Italy, tied the knot with his long-time true love, Snow White. Palm Springs is one of the Nation's most popular and memorable locations for a wedding and honeymoon, the artist selected the Palm Springs Fine Art Fair as the perfect time and setting for the nuptials. Kevin Berlin, the true romantic and ideologically ingenious groom, who is friends with Santa Claus and The Easter Bunny, has courted his adoring bride-to-be for years.
