On select Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Theatre West will present readings of new full-length plays developed in its Writers Workshop.

The multi-generational musical drama Monarch stars Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon (“Thelma & Louise,” “Dead Man Walking,” “Feud”), multi-Platinum country music star and three-time Academy of Country Music Award winner Trace Adkins and Golden Globe winner Anna Friel (“Pushing Daisies,” “Books of Blood,” “The Girlfriend Experience”).

One of the most versatile voices in entertainment, Jacqueline Petroccia, releases her highly anticipated double EP “Champagne and Moonshine,” Petroccia's debut solo album. Collaborators on the album include musician royalty from Music City, including members of the Nashville Symphony, and the Grammy® and Country Music Award-winning Rascal Flatts, and Broadway Musician Brent Frederick. The album is available online through CD Baby (physical copy), Amazon, and iTunes.

And Sondra Morton, Jayme Smith and co. (that would be Act Too) stages their company's latest work at the historic Franklin Theatre - The Sound of Music - starring Kimberly Rye as Maria, Cameron Bortz as Rolf and the inimitable Matt Baugher as Georg Von Trapp. Check it out!
