Inishmaan is a small island off the Irish coast whose residents are impoverished farmers and fishermen and their families. Martin McDonagh, created a tragi-comic yarn woven from their sad dissatisfactions. Running July 23 – August 20, 2022 at the Long Beach Playhouse.

Come to Lake Forest's respected Modjeska Playhouse on October 5 at 2:30pm for presentations of three one-act plays. These staged readings, part of the Orange County Playwrights Alliance's Discoveries series, range from gentle comedy to involving drama, and are written by Orange County playwrights with local and national credits.

Kentwood Players presents the drama DADDY'S DYIN' WHO'S GOT THE WILL, by Del Shores. Performance dates are July 13 through August 18 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Performances take place at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue in Westchester, CA 90045. There will be a complimentary pre-show champagne and dessert reception between 7:00-7:30pm for season subscribers and their guests attending the Saturday, July 14 performance.

On Sunday, July 20, the Kentwood Players performance of SORDID LIVES had 4 very special guests in the audience: playwright Del Shores and original cast members Ann Walker, Newell Alexander and Rosemary Alexander. After enjoying the show, they visited with the Kentwood cast and posed for photos on the set.

Kentwood Players will present 'Sordid Lives' by Del Shores from tonight, July 11 to August 16, 2014 for a six-week run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with Sunday matinees at 2pm at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue, Westchester, CA 90045. The production is directed by Kirk Larson and produced by Lori Marple-Pereslete and Virginia Mekkelson by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

The woman's family must deal with their own demons while preparing for what could be an embarrassing funeral. This play is filled with adult situations and language
