BWW Review: ON YOUR FEET! THE EMILIO & GLORIA ESTEFAN MUSICAL at Bass Performance Hall

After 590 performances, the final performance of the First National Tour of ON YOUR FEET! - the hit musical based on the life story of seven-time GRAMMY winning international superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband, 19-time GRAMMY winning producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan - will be Sunday, April 14 at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth.

On Your Feet! is the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, two people who believed in their talent, their music and each other, and because of that, they became an international sensation. Get ready to get on your feet Grand Rapis, and dance to the smash hits 'Rhythm Is Gonna Get You,' '1-2-3,' 'Live For Loving You,' 'Conga,' and many more until February 14th at DeVos Performance Hall as part of the Broadway Grand Rapids Series. 

Rare is the wedding, Bar Mitzvah, office holiday party or Sweet 16 that does not at some point feature a rousing rendition of Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine's 'Conga.' Today, producers of the smash-hit musical ON YOUR FEET! announced that Original Broadway Cast member Doreen Montavlo (In the Heights, Giant, Flashdance the Musical) will take over the role of Gloria Fajardo - Gloria Estefan's mother - on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Cabaret Cares, the award winning Cabaret benefit series, now is its eleventh year returns on Jan 29th at 9:30 PM. Hosted By Drama Desk Award Winner Doreen Montalvo, the evening will present cast members from the hit Broadway Show ON YOUR FEET. 

Casting has been announced for the Orlando premiere of SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody, playing at The Abbey in downtown Orlando January 29 through March 23.
