The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC)  has announced the 2023 grant awards for the Flamboyan Artist Fellowship. Sixteen Puerto Rico-based artists will receive grants of $5,000 to support artist creativity and cultural preservation. The awards are made possible through a partnership between the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA)  grant program and the Flamboyan Arts Fund.

Naturlich mit aktuellsten Hits, neuen, aufregenden Choreografien und raffinierten Designs vom Maestro des Glams Jorge Gonzalez.

Bereits wahrend der Auffuhrung belohnte das Publikum, zu dem zahlreiche prominente Personlichkeiten aus Politik, Schauspiel, Kultur und Sport gehorten, die Darsteller und das Orchester mit euphorischen Standing-Ovations. Susan Sideropoulus schwarmt: „Das beste Musical, das ich je gesehen habe!' Collien Ulmen-Fernandes bringt es auf den Punkt: „Es war lustig, es war bunt!' Auch Sky du Monts Begeisterung kennt keine Grenzen: „Diese Musik, diese Buhne, sensationell! Dschinni ist zum Niederknien. Und den Teppich muss ich haben!' Jorge Gonzalez sagt: „Tolle Show, ich habe so viel gelacht! Ich liebe die Anspielungen auf die moderne Zeit.' Und Dr. Dieter Wedel erganzt euphorisch: „Ich bin begeistert! Choreografie und Buhnenbild sind enorm!'

Zahlreiche Prominente aus Kultur, Politik, Sport und Unterhaltung wie Kai Wiesinger, Natalia Worner, Sky du Mont, Ann-Kathrin Kramer, Harald Krassnitzer, Jorge Gonzalez, Wolfgang Niedecken, Daniela Katzenberger, Dr. Hermann Buhlbecker, Peter Weck, Jana Ina Zarella, Ross Antony, Britta Heidemann, Marcus Schenkenberg, Jasmin Schwiers, Jurgen Hingsen, Tom Gaebel, Mario Kotaska, Helmut Zerlett, Hans Sarpei, Birgit Schrowange, Sabine Postel und Wolfram Kons feierten zusammen mit Cast und Band bis in die Morgenstunden und machten die Gala-Premiere von BODYGUARD - DAS MUSICAL zu einem grandiosen Erfolg. 

For the June print calendar (June 2 - July 6) Yoshi's San Francisco aka 'YSF' has reached an all-time record with '32' club concerts in 35 days. While the foundation remains jazz, bookings in the R&B / Funk and Country / Rock genres continue to increase. June 11 marks the one-year anniversary with our resident Drummer, Educator, Band Leader: Tommy Igoe. Featuring 15 of the Bay Area's finest musicians, special guest performances and theme nights, The Tommy Igoe Big Band Tuesday Night Residency has become a must-see event in San Francisco. Nutley Little Theatre's red barn, which is nestled in the heart of Nutley in North NJ, saw the theater company's humble beginnings as a parish-based arts ministry in 1934 and its first regular season plays directed by Robert Winternitz in 1934 to 1935. That same iconic red barn also serves as the performance venue in NLT's current season -- 76 seasons and counting -- that closes with William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin's Broadway musical The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee from June 10 to June 25.
