John thomas Oaks wants you to fall in love with Jesus Christ and let His blood wash your sins away. He wants to see you in Heaven. He has written 500+ songs and 25+ stage musicals. A preacher's kid currently residing in Elizabethton, TN, his music is infused with East Tennessee mountain Gospel and western North Carolina bluegrass, the sweetness of jazz, cabaret and classic musical theatre (equal parts neon and firefly). He and his father, Tommy, travel full time presenting stories in creative ways through the arts of storytelling, music, preaching and theatre.
