Director, producer and Cornell University alumnus ('93) David Winitsky has been named the new Interim Producing Artistic Director of Ithaca's Kitchen Theatre Company. David's appointment was unanimously approved by the Kitchen Theatre Company's Board of Directors. He succeeds M. Bevin O'Gara, the theatre's Producing Artistic Director since 2017.

On May 11, 2019, Kitchen Theatre Company (KTC) presented its second annual Lip Sink Spring Fundraiser.

On March 24, 2018, Kitchen Theatre Company (KTC) presented its first ever Lip Sink Spring Fundraiser. Celebrating M. Bevin O'Gara's first season as Producing Artistic Director at KTC, the evening brought the community together in support of the theatre. Teams of performers chose songs to lip sync and dance to, and fundraised on behalf of the theatre, culminating in an incredible show, delighting the audience of KTC supporters. The event was hosted by longtime Kitchen Theatre actor and local favorite Karl Gregory. The fundraising celebration featured an open bar, buffet, and a dance party (DJ Gibran).

The Board of Directors of Ithaca's Kitchen Theatre Company has launched a$188,000 campaign to 'Burn the Mortgage' in honor of Artistic Director Rachel Lampert's retirement and her twenty years of visionary leadership. 

Kitchen Theatre Company's 5th Annual Dance the Night Away fundraising event on Saturday, March 21, 2015 was a huge success, raising over $46,000 to support the work of the theater. The event matches local celebrities with Kitchen Theatre Company professional dancers and choreographers who prepare exhibition dances and raise money through sponsorship of friends and supporters.

On Today, March 21, 2015 from 8pm-midnight, Kitchen Theatre Company will host its 5th Annual Dance the Night Away party to celebrate its 24th season. Dance the Night Away is an evening of dancing to live music Little Joe and the Big Shots, great food and delicious drinks. And, when the band takes a break - performances by 'celebrity dancers' delight party-goers.
