.Ensemble Theatre Company has announced its remount of its tour-de-force one-man show Vincent, which was presented at The Santa Barbara Museum of Art in March to sold-out audiences. 

The Oshman Family JCC presents Leonard Nimoy's Vincent, a solo show about artist Vincent van Gogh. Inspired by the hundreds of letters Vincent van Gogh wrote to his brother, this compelling event paints an intimate portrait of the great artist, who labored in obscurity, able to sell only a single portrait during his lifetime. Vincent van Gogh is known as one of the greatest painters who ever existed-and yet, he was one of the loneliest and misunderstood souls during his lifetime. His work was dismissed as that of a madman, save for one person who consistently provided unending love, encouragement, and support to Vincent in his artistic endeavors: his brother Theo. The sole believer in Vincent's talent, Theo sent money and supplies to his brother and each night, after painting for fourteen to sixteen hours, Vincent would write to his brother.

The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center of Palo Alto proudly presents the stellar line-up for its Fall 2017-2018 Arts & Dialogues series, featuring world-renowned musicians, artists, and a host of fascinating thinkers, doers, and innovators. Tickets are now on sale for Starry, Starry, Night, set for Saturday, April 4. The elegant affair will feature gourmet food, specialty wines, a silent auction and a specially arranged art exhibit. Festivities are followed by Jarrett's critically acclaimed solo production presented in the G.K. Hardt Theatre. Proceeds benefit the 6th Street Playhouse educational programs and productions. Presented at the 6th Street Playhouse, located in historic Railroad Square, the gala will feature locally acclaimed artists and their works in a special setting reminiscent of a French artists' studio during the Impressionist period with original art works inspired by Van Gogh.
