On May 18th, at Middletown's own Elks Theatre, the filmmakers, alongside, THE SAVE THE ELKS! Campaign will premiere the short alongside the renowned film THE CHINA SYNDROME (1979) as a free double feature. THE CHINA SYNDROME, a movie starring Jack Lemmon, Jane Fonda, and Michael Douglas, follows a trio of reporters that uncover a conspiracy at a nuclear plant, only to be caught in a meltdown. Besides being critically acclaimed, it is renowned for being released just 12 days prior the Three Mile Island incident. Scroll down for a sneak peek at both films!
Theatre Harrisburg to Present MERRY CHRISTMAS, GEORGE BAILEY, 12/6-7

To celebrate the holiday season, Theatre Harrisburg presents MERRY CHRISTMAS, GEORGE BAILEY, a recreation of the famous 1947 Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of the classic movie favorite IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. Just like the original broadcast, this production will be presented in period costumes with live sound effects, seasonal music and even vintage commercials. Seasonal refreshments will also be provided. This production is sponsored by Waddell & Reed.

Poor Mortimer Brewster, the drama-hating theatre critic. He has to deal with his homicidal aunts, his murderous brother who has recently undergone plastic surgery (and now looks like Boris Karloff), his newly betrothed fiancé, the local police department and, of course, his other brother who believes he is Teddy Roosevelt - the 'locks' for the Panama Canal he digs in the basement are just the right size for the sisters' victims.
