Michael Lifshitz, one of the two producing partners behind MNM Productions, presented checks of approximately $2,800 each to both theMetropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beaches (MCCPB) and Joy MCC in Orlando during the weekly service last Sunday morning. Both faith communities are dedicated to serving their local LGBTQ communities, which is particularly important since the horrific massacre last June in Orlando. The funds were raised during the recent run of the highly acclaimed production ofTHE WORLD GOES 'ROUND at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach.

'What Matters' a benefit concert in honor of the 10 year observance of Matthew Shepard and the ongoing work of The Matthew Shepard Foundation

On October 10th, musicians from around the country joined at Birdland to celebrate The Matthew Shepard Foundation with music and fun. The cast included Randi Driscoll and Noah Heldman, Jason & deMarco, Max von Essen, Christopher Sieber, Billy Stritch, Scott Nevins, David Gurland and host Jim Caruso.

On October 10th, a concert at Birdland, with Max Von Essen and Christopher Sieber as two of its performers, will pay tribute to the memory of Matthew Shepard

Broadway leading men Christopher Sieber (Spamalot, Chicago) and Max von Essen (Finian's Rainbow, Dance of the Vampires)have been added to the cast of An Evening of Music Celebrating The Matthew Shepard Foundation at Birdland on Monday, October 10 at 7pm.

On a very special evening in New York City, a group of musicians from all over the country will remember Matthew Shepard, a young college student who lost his life in a vicious anti-gay hate crime in October of 1998.
