Richard Maxwell Premieres FIELD OF MARS at NYU Skirball


NYU Skirball will present the world premiere of Field of Mars, a commissioned work by award-winning playwright/director Richard Maxwell and New York City Players, running Jan. 19 – 29, 2023 at NYU Skirball as part of the Under the Radar festival.

REDCAT Announces 9 New Premieres At The 2018 New Original Works Festival


REDCAT, CalArts' downtown center for contemporary arts, presents the 15th annual New Original Works (NOW) Festival, a three-week celebration of Los Angeles' vibrant community of artists creating new contemporary performance work, July 19 to August 4, 2018. The Broad today announced the lineup for the third edition of Summer Happenings at The Broad, a music and performance series sponsored by Leading Partner East West Bank. Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as a “wildly eclectic mix of music and art,” the summer event series – one of Los Angeles' most popular and anticipated events – will showcase more than 35 prominent and emerging artists and performers over four events. Tickets, including Series Passes (offers a savings of $25 and tickets to all four Summer Happenings), create-your-own ticket packages (offers a savings of $5 on each event when tickets are purchased for two or more events) and individual tickets ($30 advance), are available now at www.thebroad.org/happenings.

The season, the first curated by Skirball's new director, Jay Wegman, will showcase diverse and cutting-edge international talent from Brussels, Denmark, France, Germany, Republic of Congo, the U.K. and the United States.

The actress navigates an obstacle course littered with difficult conditions: physical suffering, sexual obsession, self-love that loops into doubt, and fear of fateful intervention. Dramatic scenarios unfurl through dance to reveal an anti-strategy about wrestling with ambition and being female in this 21st century moment.
