16th Street Theater announces their Thirteenth Season opener: the rolling world premiere of Maya Malan-Gonzalez' A XMAS CUENTO REMIX with composition and arrangements by Emiliano Valdez and Daniel Valdez and direction by Miguel Nuñez November 29 - December 29, 2019 at North Berwyn Park District's 16th Street Theater, 6420 16th Street in Berwyn. Press opening is Friday, December 6 at 7:30 PM.

The New Colony presents UNCHARTED, a two-week showcase of plays at different points in their journeys to production, playing July 11 - 20, 2019 at TNC's resident home, The Den Theatre (2B) 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

16th Street Theater will give a free community performance of Melissa DuPrey's BRUJAJA directed by Miranda Gonzalez to kick-off the 2019 Pop Up New Play Reading Series. The community performance will take place at Morton West Auditorium at 2400 Home Ave in Berwyn, IL, on Thursday, February 7 at 7:00 PM. Underwritten by 16th Street's 100 Club Members, this event is free and open to the public. Cast includes Elena Feliz, NK Gutierrez, Wendy Mateo, Andrew Neftali Perez, Isabel Quintero, Maria Velazquez, and Isaly Viana.
