A fast-paced saucy romp satirising religious hypocrisy and naivety is coming to Limelight Theatre, giving a modern spin to a play almost 360 years old. 

A play from the writer of The Odd Couple and Barefoot in the Park is coming to Stirling Theatre. Neil Simon’s Rose and Walsh, directed by Carryn McLean, is the story of two ageing lovers who were once literary giants.  Popular pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk is branching out at Limelight Theatre, ready to provide plenty of laughs, dance and song. Written by Ben Crocker and directed by Gwen Browning, the story follows Jack who is in love with Princess Demelza – but the giant who lives in the clouds demands increased taxes and the princess’ hand in marriage.  

Written by Ronald Harwood and directed by Gwen Browning at Limelight Theatre, Quartet is set in an aged care home with Cecily, Reggie and Wilfred ready to celebrate Verdi's birthday with an annual concert. 

Get ready to laugh, sigh and cry a little as four retired opera singers take you into the bittersweet world of facing up to age and mortality.

A MIXTURE of song, dance, comedy, variety acts and audience participation is taking over Limelight Theatre this June. Directed by Shelley McGinn, The Glorious Old Time Music Hall is a celebration of British musical theatre - similar to American vaudeville, it started in the 1850s and was popular for the next 100 years.

AN intriguing and seductive play that was later turned in a multi-award-winning film is Limelight Theatre's latest offering this August. Written by Kalgoorlie-born Andrew Bovell, Speaking in Tongues is a mystery for grown-ups laden with love, infidelity and mistrust, complete with twists, turns, flashbacks and surprises.
