Celebrated Pianist George Winston Returns to Madison This Month
An Evening with George Winston is a chance to step back from our perpetually busy lives and let our minds adventurously wonder. Winston has inspired fans and musicians alike with his singular solo acoustic piano songs for more than 40 years while selling 15 million albums. He will share his music mastery at Overture Center's Capitol Theater on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets ($25-$55) are available at overture.org.

Today on Friday, October 16th at 7pm, a special virtual reading of 'One Empire, Under God' - Anthony J. What more can be said about the juggernaut "Hamilton" that hasn't already been written? An ornate, elaborate leveled wooden backdrop and mobile staircases with minimal, simple set pieces and turntables floors showcased the exquisitely and insanely-talented lead actors and the equally-matched ensemble that brought each note to vivid life. The superb music - a blend of hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, and traditional Broadway tunes - was complemented by nearly nonstop, furiously-paced choreography.
