The Imperial Court of New York's Raise Your Voice II benefit concert took place on July 11, 2016 and was hosted by Gary Cosgrove and Doris Dear. The concert featured entertainment-world heavyweights from Broadway and Cabaret for a night of song and solidarity benefitting the OneOrlando Fund (www.oneorlando.org). The purpose of the Fund is to provide much needed support to the victims of the Pulse tragedy and their families.

Actress/comedienne Sandra Bernhard will headline the 28th annual Night of A Thousand Gowns gala tonight, March 29th, at the Marriott Marquis hotel on Times Square, along with performers Martha Reeves from the Vandellas, international recording artist, Kelly King, 80's girl group Expose and the cast of Broadway's Pippin.

On April 6, Their Most Imperial and Sovereign Majesties, Emperor XXI Ritz Kraka and Empress XXVI Witti Repartee, presented The Night of a Thousand Gowns -- a dazzling display of regal glamour, an opportunity to celebrate the LGBT community, and in particular, the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community. In its twenty-seven year history the Imperial Court of New York has donated over 1.5 million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes. This year the Night of a Thousand Gowns welcomes 1,000 attendees to raise important funds for GLAAD and GHMC. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the evening's festivities!

Just last night, GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, hosted GLAAD Manhattan, presented by Bravo, Ketel One and Miller 64 at the Eventi Hotel. GLAAD's annual summer event featured hors d'oeuvres, hosted cocktails, and special performances to celebrate and highlight GLAAD's work to build support for equality. The 10th anniversary of the largest and most visible art auction event in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community celebrated established and emerging artists as well as recognizing GLAAD's Top 100 Artists. The Night of a Thousand Gowns celebrating the LGBT community - the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community -took place on Saturday, March 26 in New York City. In its twenty-five year history, the Court has donated over a million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes. This year the Night of a Thousand Gowns expects 1,000 attendees to raise important funds for the Ali Forney Center and the Trevor Project.
