Eric Van Tielen, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, is an actor and singer who moved to New York City in 2008. Shortly after arriving, he took his Equity card in the role of Matt for a co-production of 'The Fantasticks' with Syracuse Stage and Indiana Repertory Theatre. His next credit took him back to NYC and onto the Broadway stage in the musical 'A Tale of Two Cities' where he was the Male Ensemble Swing and understudy for Aaron Lazar in the role of Charles Darnay. By year's end he had landed the role of Fyedka in the National Tour of 'Fiddler on the Roof.' The tour began as Topol's farewell, but also included theatre luminaries Theo Bikel and Harvey Fierstein in the role of Tevye. Eric toured with the 25th Anniversary production of 'Les Miserables' in the role of Combeferre/Fauchelevant, also Grantaire u/s, for just over two years. He recently rejoined his Les Miz family, on Broadway, as Babet/Innkeeper. He has an Acting MFA from Indiana University.Eric Van Tielen News

Dream Theatre's production of Mamma Mia opened to rave reviews last weekend where it played to record crowds at The Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway. The cast was led by Gabrielle Mirabella as Donna, Kim Shriver (Tanya), Jennifer Cody (Rosie), Michael Hunsaker (Sam Carmichael) and Adam Kaster (Bill Austin). Japan can't get enough of PRINCE OF BROADWAY (see video below), and that's too bad, because there are just five performances left at Osaka's Umeda Arts Theatre. On opening night, after a solid ten minutes of applause after the final curtain, Prince and the rest of the creative team went out one more time. Despite the show's success overseas, an official announcement has not yet been made regrading a run on Broadway... but that hasn't kept us from wondering. So what's next for PRINCE? We're keeping our appendages crossed for an announcement soon and we'll keep you posted with updates!
