Matthew McConaughey is back at the helm of Wild Turkey Bourbon's advertising, ready to testify in his newest creative effort for the iconic bourbon. Wild Turkey today unveiled its second television commercial directed by and starring the Academy Award -winning actor. The commercial, created in partnership with J. Walter Thompson New York, is a continuation of the legendary bourbon brand's global marketing campaign titled "It'll Find You." Wild Turkey tapped McConaughey to serve as Creative Director in 2016, and he has since demonstrated his vision via content that reintroduces the world to the all-American brand. As reported in Gruppo Campari's 2017 first half results, the Wild Turkey portfolio has grown globally by 14.6%, driven in part by the success of this well-received campaign. Following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps, Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell decided to dabble in the family business a few miles from his boyhood home at the Wild Turkey Distillery. That was back in 1981, and the new college grad wasn't quite sure the distilling business was for him. Flash forward more than three decades and the student has become the master, celebrating his 35 th anniversary and releasing some of the finest whiskies the Bluegrass State has to offer. To mark the occasion, Eddie is releasing Wild Turkey Master's Keep Decades, the second limited-edition Bourbon in the Master's Keep series.

Today, a living legend in the global spirits industry gets his due, as the whiskey brand he's nurtured for an astonishing 60 years releases Wild Turkey Diamond Anniversary, a commemorative Bourbon in his honor. Celebrating six decades of service with the famous Lawrenceburg, Kentucky distillery this year, Wild Turkey's Jimmy Russell is now considered the longest-tenured, active Master Distiller in the world.
