Turkey And Trimmings Donated To Brooklyn Community Groups
On Monday, November 21, the Brooklyn Borough President's Office, Deputy Borough President Yvonne Graham and Senior Advisor Carlo Scissura kicked off the holiday season by distributing more than a thousand Thanksgiving turkeys and several tons of trimmings-apples, collard greens, baking potatoes and sweet potatoes- to representatives of nearly a hundred Brooklyn community groups at Borough Hall Plaza.
