BWW Review: OKC Broadway's MEAN GIRLS is so fetch!

OKC Broadway presents MEAN GIRLS now through January 2nd. Tina Fey's 2004 sleeper hit movie became a Broadway musical in 2018, and launched a national tour prior to the COVID pandemic in 2019. The live adaptation has fun choreography and a rocking score. The cast of professionals rock out in Broadway style on the Civic Center Stage.

Holding it all together throughout was Mr. Simmons himself, with expert conducting, a perfunctory piano playing style, and his superior rock/pop/gospel vocals, he truly brought the concert to his cabaret.

York Theatre Company Announces May Developmental Reading Series

David Perlman (Baby It's You!, Yank!, Madagascar Live!, and other shows without exclamation points) returned to Feinstein's/54 Below last week for his solo concert debut of MOSTLY FUNNY SONGS. The show featured guest star Natalie Weiss (Breaking Down the Riffs, Les Miserables, Everyday Rapture). The pair put a spin on 'All By Myself' by Eric Carmen (sung in the style of Celine Dion) - check it out below!

Cabaret & Broadway star T. Oliver Reid (After Midnight, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Never Gonna dance, La Cage Auz Folles, The Wedding Singer, Mary Poppins, Sister Act, GIRLS) debuted his new show, "Made in America" last night and Broadwayworld was there.  Reid's songfest was filled with the memories and love of the USA as told by this one American boy.  The show contained the songs of Irving Berlin, John Cougar Mellencamp, Dolly Parton, Jim Croce, Aaron Copland, Paul Simon and everything in between.
