Festival Hit ONE SMALL HITCH Coming to Theaters in February


Freestyle Digital Media (FDM) and Freestyle Releasing announce today that they have acquired the U.S. theatrical and VOD rights, and set February 6th in time for Valentine's Day as the release date, for ONE SMALL HITCH, the charming romantic comedy that stars Shane McRae (THE HELP, 'The Following'), Aubrey Dollar (FAILURE TO LAUNCH, upcoming 'Battle Creek'), Robert Belushi (DEVIL'S DUE, 'How I Met Your Mother'), Ron Dean (THE FUGITIVE) and Daniel J. Travanti (HILL STREET BLUES). Directed by John Burgess and written by Dode B. He encounters Linda Johansson, a beautiful young intern and first-year architecture grad student, who challenges his conceptions. The tensions created by their differing ideas are complicated by their mutual attraction to each other: The lovely young woman is drawn to this man by his accomplishments and influential position in addition to his considerable personal charm; He, in his turn, is stimulated by her beauty, vitality, and probing intellect. Given the subject matter of the project, identity politics are also part of the mix.

LaMaMa Presents the World Premiere of FALSE SOLUTION, Beginning 6/13


FALSE SOLUTION, a world-premiere play about an architect's struggle to design a Holocaust museum in Poland, written and directed by Oren Safdie, will be presented Off-Broadway with previews starting Thursday, June 13, 2013 (prior to an official press opening night on June 16th) at La MaMa (74A East 4th Street) in Manhattan. The production runs through Sunday, June 30.
