A good story often bears repeating. Such is the case in Tom Stoppard's ON THE RAZZLE, currently playing on the Royal George stage of the Shaw Festival. It's storied provenance has beginnings dated back to the 1842 play  'Einen Jux will er sich machen'  by Johann Nestroy.

The Wilmette Theatre will host the Chicago premiere of 'The Bling Ring' which stars Emma Watson as well as Winnetka native and Actors Training Center (ATC) student Katie Chang. The red carpet screening will be held tonight, June 17 as a fundraising benefit for the historic Wilmette Theatre, 1122 Central Ave. Following the film, Katie Chang will give a post-show talkback to discuss her experiences on-set and her time as an ATC student. Katie began taking classes at ATC in 2009 and was recommended to audition for 'The Bling Ring' by ATC Director, Carole Dibo.

The 64th annual Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, under the leadership of General Manager Bernard Foccroulle, will open today, July 5 and run until July 27, 2012, featuring a diverse menu of seven opera and musical theater productions, seven orchestral concerts, five solo recitals, seven intimate chamber music performances, two world music programs, and more than thirty events from the 15th annual European Academy of Music. The Festival's wide-ranging events unfold in nine extraordinary venues, many of them open-air, in and around the picturesque ancient Provencal city: castles, a cathedral, a basilica, a palace courtyard, a historical site dating back to the 11th century BC, and an 18th century theatre transformed from a «jeu de paume» court where Louis XIV played in 1660.
