Carla Della Gatta

Carla Della Gatta is a dramaturg and offers workshops on bilingual and semi-bilingual productions as well as casting workshops for theaters and entertainment companies.

She is an active member of the Latinx Theatre Commons Steering Committee and she has served on the Governing Council for the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE). She is Associate Professor of Theatre Scholarship and Performance Studies at University of Maryland. She is author of Latinx Shakespeares: Staging U.S. Intracultural Theater (University of Michigan Press, 2023) and co-editor of Shakespeare and Latinidad (Edinburgh University Press, 2021).
