Ariella Centeno BIO

Ariella Centeno found her love for performing when she was 5 years old.
Ariella was born in Manhattan, NY, but moved to Prescott, AZ, when she was 3 years old.
While in Prescott, she's performed in 25 local musical theater and theater productions as well as many dance and choir performances. Ariella has homeschooled her whole life so she could focus on her love of art, performing and adventure.
Ariella procured her first professional role in 2022 when she was 15 years old. She played Anne Frank in the Jewish Ensemble Theater's production of "The Dairy of Anne Frank" at Scottsdale Center for the Arts.
Some of her other favorite credits include "Phantom of the Opera" at Yavapai College Performing Arts, Alice in "Wonderland," Zuzu Bailey and later Janie Bailey in "It's a Wonderful Life", "Hello Dolly" with Toni Tenille, Tinkerbell in "Peter and Wendy" and Ariel in "The Tempest."
She has won several local drama and voice awards and scholarships, including 1st place in drama for 2021 and 2022.
In 2023, Ariella placed as one of four finalists in Drama for the Arizona Young Artist Competition.
Ariella is also an avid scuba diver and snorkeler. She's already done 75 dives, including 16 shark dives.

THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK is Coming to Scottsdale Center for the Arts in January


Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and The Bridge Initiative will present a stage adaptation of the posthumously published 1947 book The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank.

Anne Frank reminds each of us that we must cling to our ideals and that, in spite of everything, people are truly good at heart.
