AFTER THE MURDER OF ALBERT LIMA Acquired by Screen Media as a Crackle Original


Screen Media, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (Nasdaq: CSSE) company, announced today the acquisition of all US AVOD rights to the true-crime documentary thriller AFTER THE MURDER OF ALBERT LIMA, from director and producer Aengus James (American Harmony, Scandalous.) The film will be released as a Crackle Original in the first quarter of 2021.

Duplicity Ensemble to Premiere FOLK BOUND as Inaugural Production


Duplicity Ensemble presents the world premiere of Anne Walaszek's Folk Bound, the story of a young woman's trek through a world made up of folk stories. Beginning with a telegram from a bird, Lucy senses that something has gone terribly wrong. She sets out on a great journey to return to her mother, only to find that things are worse than she could possibly have imagined. Filled with original music by composer Pamela Maurer (a.k.a Baby Money) and choreography by Annaleah Tubbin, the story follows Lucy on her quest for home, wherever and whatever that may be.

Haven Theatre Chicago follows their hit run of Hedwig and the Angry Inch with The Wedding Singer, October 13 - November 17, at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Out of the ashes of the Twin Towers emerged a group of survivors. They had all been through hell and back, but one survivor in particular stood out as inspirational: Tania Head. Tania's devastating story of narrowly escaping death from the 78th floor of the South Tower, badly burned and crawling through carnage and chaos, is one of true courage and a fighting will to survive. But while she made it out alive of one building, her life was essentially taken away by the other. Her fiance had perished in the North Tower.
