Photo Flash: Fairweather & Goodman Launch Ivy Untapped
Acclaimed filmmaker, art advisor ALEXANDRA FAIRWEATHER and ERIC GOODMAN, an M & A specialist with a premiere international bank, the Millennial co-founders of IVY UNTAPPED and co- publishers of Fairweather Magazine, unveiled a new members-only web site, www.untapped.me, at by-invitation-press-and-potential-members launch event at (appropriately) the Yale Club in Manhattan on November 19th during a reception sponsored by Kiss Mix Cocktails. Guest Hosts include Dana Prussian, Sarah Lebovitz and Ramon Torres. Over 150 guests from the Ivy League & Seven Sisters schools- as well as grads from Stanford, UCLA and Technion in Haifa, Israel and other top institutions - filled the elegant penthouse with its sweeping views of midtown Manhattan.

Paper Mill Playhouse Announces 2013 Rising Star Award Winners!
Paper Mill Playhouse hosted the 18th Annual Rising Star Awards - Presented by the Investors Foundation -tonight, June 4th at the Millburn Theater. Schools nominated for Outstanding Overall Production and Leading Actor/Actress nominees performed at the event and award recipients were presented with a crystal award from Tiffany & Co. Summit High School came out on top, winning Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical. A total of 31 awards were presented along with five scholarships and other cash prizes. 2012 New Jersey Young Playwrights Winners Announced!
Playwrights Theatre has just announced the winners of the 29th Annual New Jersey Young Playwrights Contest. From the 261 plays submitted by young writers throughout the state, a panel of theatre professionals has selected four High School plays, three Junior High School plays and three Elementary Schools plays. In each category, plays were selected without knowledge of playwrights' schools or grade. Judges were not provided with any of the playwrights' information. The 29th Annual New Jersey Young Playwrights Contest Festival will be held on May 21 and May 22 as part of a partnership between Playwrights Theatre and Premiere Stages at Kean University. Select plays from this festival will be reprised at Playwrights Theatre's nationally-recognized Forum Reading Series in December 2012. This reading series brings together writers from all over the United States.
