Patti Gallagher to Perform 'Memories' With Wayne Abravanel On Piano

Local singer Patti Gallagher will perform her latest cabaret concert "Memories" at the Arthur Newman Theater in the Joslyn Center on Sunday, July 8, 2018 3 at 2 PM with pianist Wayne Abravanel. Tickets for this show are $15 cash only at the box office that opens at 1 PM.

Patti Gallagher has toured with Giancarlo Menotti's Opera, "The Telephone" and sung leading roles in operas and musicals with companies in St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Chicago. She is a graduate from Indiana University of Music earning a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance and a PhD. in Theatre Arts. In Los Angeles she taught singing and acting at Santa Monica College before retiring to Palm Springs where she sang opera at Mario's Restaurant, appeared in six "Musical Chairs", served on the board of the Palm Springs Opera Guild, and sang in three "Opera in the Park" productions. In 2000 Patti was crowned Ms. Senior America. "Memories" is Ms. Gallagher's third show for this series, now in it's 8th year, and is about stories and songs about life inspired by her own, including the recent loss of her husband. Joining her will be acclaimed musical director Wayne Abravanel on piano.
