Encore Theatre District Announces Auditions To Be Held This Sunday

Encore Theatre District announces auditions for the first offering in its 2019-2020 season. The show, titled WOMEN IN THEATRE: A ONE ACT FESTIVAL, consists of two one acts plays: 25 QUESTIONS FOR A JEWISH MOTHER by Judy Gold and Kate Moira Ryan, and MY LEFT BREAST by Susan Miller. All women are invited to audition.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the Camelot Theatres, 2300 E. Baristo Rd., Palm Springs, CA 92262, from 1 to 3 p.m. Please prepare a short monologue.

25 QUESTIONS FOR A JEWISH MOTHER will be directed by Tiffanie Patscheck. The play follows a Jewish comedian as she explores what it means to be a Jewish mother today. Directed by Desiree Clarke, MY LEFT BREAST is a one woman show about a woman's journey through breast cancer.

WOMEN IN THEATRE: A ONE ACT FESTIVAL will run from September 27 through October 6, 2019, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm.
