Get up from your seat, leave the theatre behind and come along on a voyage of discovery! Inspired by local residents and their stories of past and present, this ambulatory adventure connects art and the community in new and unexpected ways.
Our walking tour has several stops, each highlighting a different art form—singing, slam, storytelling, poetry—and illustrating a different life stage. It’s a light-hearted and imaginative overview of the human journey, from infancy through youth to adulthood and old age, that subtly addresses issues of language and the transmission of knowledge.
Directed by Christian Lapointe, local artists animate a multidisciplinary experience that’s both fun and instructive. Together they invite us to awaken to the world around us and celebrate who and what we are.
