A scorching exposé of corporate madness, ENRON is corrosively funny and exuberantly theatrical. The infamous Enron scandal (greed + ambition + fraud = financial ruin) is depicted as sprawling fantasy mixed with savage comedy. A blockbuster hit, the play is both cutting and compassionate.
