Disney On Ice Presents Treasure Trove Visits Scotiabank Place 2/15-19

Audiences will enjoy a gem for every generation when Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove skates into Ottawa for nine performances from Feb. 15 to Feb. 19, 2012.

Disney On Ice sets the gold standard with an all-new magical medley of Disney tales spanning the years from the first animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, to the 50th film, Tangled. Treasure Trove is led by two female producers, sisters Nicole Feld and Juliette Feld, a first for the company. Tickets for all nine performances at Scotiabank Place go on sale this Friday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m.

Treasure Trove is an action-packed ice adventure that takes audiences on a journey through their favorite stories from Disney animated features. Brave a battle against Captain Hook and his pirate pals with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, trek across the Pride Lands with Simba, Timon and Pumbaa, and enter the whimsical world of Wonderland to witness a precision skating number by the Queen of Hearts' Army of Cards in this extraordinary lineup from the Disney animated film vault.

"Watching Disney movies is a special pastime for many families. For Treasure Trove, we wanted to extend that experience by producing one remarkable show to commemorate the everlasting legacy of Disney animated films, live on the ice," says producer Juliette Feld.

Tickets for Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove can be purchased by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall and Place d'Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull and at the Scotiabank Place box office. Tickets are $67.50 (rinkside seats), $52.50, $30, $23, and $15 for all shows. Special opening night discount is $15 for all tickets, excluding rinkside and VIP seats. Prices include all taxes but exclude CRF and convenience charges.

Children (12 and under) will receive a discount of $5 on full-priced tickets (with the exception of rinkside and VIP seats) for the 10:30 a.m. Thursday performance, in addition to the 7 p.m. performances on Thursday and Friday.

Groups of 15 or more will receive $4 off each ticket for both Sunday performances and $5 off each ticket for the Friday and Saturday evening performances. In addition, tickets for groups of 15 or more for opening night or for the Thursday evening performance are just $15. All school group tickets for Thursday's 10:30 a.m. show are $12.

Wednesday, Feb. 15 - 7 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 16 - 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 17 - 7 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 18 - 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 19 - 11:30 a.m. and a 3:30 p.m. French performance
